burner no longer burns DVD+R, only DVD+RW

    Just out of the blue my DVD burner on my Toshiba laptop stopped burning DVD+R discs. It will now only burn on DVD+RW discs. Any ideas why? How can I fix it so it will once again burn on the somewhat less expensive DVD+R discs? Thanks!

    Friend I only use use my laptop burner to read discs, not to burn as I believe that those drives are flimsy at best. If you want to burn from your laptop, I suggest a usb driven external burner. I can't be of help to you with your question.Sorry
