Hi all, I don’t know whether this is a hardware issue or a software issue, so I hope I’ve posted it in the correct place. Anyway I have a Sony DRU-700A Dual Layer DVD Burner. On the back of the box it specifies that is support burning speeds from 1X through to 8X (for DVD-R), depending of the DVD-R medium. The drive will burn at 2X inside Nero Burning Rom, but not with any other programmes. DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120% both spit out different error messages. If anyone else experienced similar problems, and has resolved it, I’d be very happy to hear from you.
I've updated the firmware to the driver from VY03(i think thats what it was) to VY06E(most recient) and still bumcas. [bold]DVD Decrypters Decyptive Error Message[/bold] I/O Error!
