Heres my computer http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/GTModels/5428/5428sp2.shtml I just tried running DVD decrypter and nero both will read/write 2x or less. I checked my setting in Device mangaer switched both to DMA if available cause one was set to PIO mode. I restarted samething really slow. Now i check the settings again and both say DMA if available but under the first one under Device 0 it has "Current transfer mode" Pio Mode. Why? Can anyone help thanx.
Fixed the problem, i uninstalled the drive and restarted windows it found it and all is working good. Both at DMA now..
