Its been a while since I have seen a updated thread on what burners have reported sucess. I want to start trying to use a mod chip but I want to make sure I get all the right stuff. What is the recomended burner and media?

NEC DVD BURNER ND-3500AG is what i own and it's burnt every gamecube game perfect & Xbox,PS2 as well..
Anyway i believe that most burners are capable of burning iso images providing you dont buy cheap media and dont try burning at stupid speeds like x10

    Ritek DVD-R G04 & G05 are what i use for everything .

I have a Samsung TS-H542A and actually have got some problems. I burn only Ritek Minis at 4X (certified speed) with mixed results.

Do you know if this burner is ok ?
I've been trying to identify the source of my DREs and now my principal suspect is my burner.

Where can you find a list of burners with observations about quality ?

    Thanks in advance.
