burning a .avi file to DVD

    I have a .AVI file I want to watch on my DVD player. Is there a small free simple program anyone can recommend that can convert and burn it to a DVD for regular playback?

    i think nero(recode) still has a free tial offer.convertxtodvd has one too, but it leaves a watermark on the video untill u buy it.

    You would need Nero Vision to convert an AVI file to DVD not Nero Recode.
