I heard a pc can read a backup game? My friend wants me to burn him copies of his burnt games. Is it possible to somehow do a disc-to-disc copy from my computer or do i have to go through all the ftp crap again? plz help thanks always
this is how i did it open dvd decrypter go into mode select iso then select read in destination select where you want to save game too i just make a foler called xbox and put it in here then select the button dvd to hdd when done change mode from iso read to iso write open the file with game in and select it and click burn i put my burning speed to slowest as possible done then just play hope this helps if game dosent work try difrent dvds brands
You can just copy a copy, you don't have to FTP, just do a straight "copy a disc" with Nero, or Alcohol, or whatever your flavor is, they all work just fine. I've done it many times.
the only reason you have to do all those FTP steps is because the PC burner can not read the original Xbox discs. but i know after creating the ISO, which is what you burned to the back up, i can use DVD Decrypter and make another copy from that ISO. and the back up should be no different.
Dorian is absolutely right if you have a backup already, then its already been patched. even though most pc dvd drives cannot open the xbox iso, it can be copied direct. Stomp recordnow is an old but classic program, that will make perfect copies of backups. remember, check your xbox drive for what media it is able to read.
