I am using TMPGENC to reenconde a .mpeg file. I did this and the size is under the 4.27 GB, but when i test it and burn it on a dvd, there is no sound. Not sure if it is a problem with my reencoding, but it won't have any sound. Any suggestions?

.m2v files are video only format.

There is no sound contained in the stream.

Yea, I forgot to mention it has a .wav file with it. I selected the .m2v file and the .wav file to burn, and when i tried it, there was no sound along with it. Anybody use TMPGENC to encode, or is there a better one to use?

BTW HomerJ, Thanks for you help

did you force picture in DVD2avi
    if you did
then after you have ripped your m2v with tempgenc
    you will need: ChapterXtractor
    & Spruce.DVDMaestro

you will find the full guide on how to use these programs step by step at http://www.digital-forums.com/dvd2dvdr/

I don't have any .vob files... It is just a .mpeg file that I have. Will I still be able to "force picture in DVD2AVI" as you said? I know I won't need ChapterXtractor because there are no chapters to extract. Is there any sites where I can get a trial of any of the programs I will need?
