burning a program

i dl a program its in an archive, i was just wondering could just burn the archive file with nero? or is there somthing i got to do?

 

is it a zip file or a rar file or do you know what the format is in?

 

it says file type: winrar archive, i think zip..

 

you will ned to un rar the file first before you burn it.If you leave it in the zipped state, yu can burn it to disc as data but you still wont be able to access it.
