i converted an avi file with VSO DivXtoDVD v0.5.2b then i burned that VIDEO_TS file to a disc, it played good but volume of the audio was really low. anybody have an ideas of how i can fix this?
The fastest solution, although not the most elegant, would be to load the AVI file into VirtualDub. Set 'Video' as 'Direct Stream Copy' and under the 'Audio' menu, select 'Full Processing mode', then 'Volume' and adjust the volume upward. Then either choose 'Compression' 'No Compression' (this will save the audio without processing loss, but at the cost of a much larger file size, which may be unacceptable) or select 'Lame mp3' as the compression method and select the settings that match the input file audio. Typically, 48000,128,CBR stereo or 41000,128,cbr stereo. Then save the file with a new name. If satisfactory, convert to DVD and test the output files before burning. VirtualDub runs from its folder (no installation) and the codecs (if not presently installed in the system) can be uninstalled from the Control Panel.
