Burning avi in nero 7

    I just bought my new dvd burner and finish burning a couple of avi files in my dvd burner im using nero 7. but when i try to play it on my dvd player it plays but in random times it skip or hangs. I want to know whats wrong. should I convert my avi files first before burning or any suggestions will be much appreciated?. sorry for my noobness im just new in burning. THx

    Check that the burning speed is set at 4x (or half the maximum speed shown on the label) and that you are using a brand that is consistently reliable (Verbatim brand DVD's).

    Im using sony DVD's. How can I check the burning speed?

    Generally before clicking 'Burn', you can change 'Recording Settings' and set the speed selection.

    Hi guys, I'm always use nero 7 for burning my favourite movie after downloaded it from internet. Its very useful and the quality of movie and sound was wonderful. I wrote something about it at my webblog,
