I've been searching everywhere and I can't seem to find how to do this. I have several AVI files that I'd like to put on a dvd and include a menu. I also have a dvd player that can handle AVI files so I don't want to convert them. I've tried Nero and Ulead but they don't appear to handle AVI files (they keep trying to convert them to MPEG) unless I make a data disc then there doesn't seem to be a way to add a menu. Any help would appreciated. Thanks.

From what I know of this, you can't create a menu unless you convert the avi first. You have to fast forward to the next file if you don't.

so this is not posible. i thought you could fit 6 Divx 700MB files on to a DVD disc and then you could play them on your DVD player, provided it support AVI files.

    Anyone know of a way.

Or can you just burn on without a menu and the films would just be chapters and you could skip them.

Burning your 6 files as data to 1 DVD with Nero would be no problem.

If the player is DivX Ultra certified, then you can remux and have a menu. Otherwise you are stuck with converting to DVD video or with the player's file browser.
