I am having a lot of trouble burning a .daa image. The file size is 690MB so I would prefer it to be on a CDR. It is a version of Windows with addons. I have paid for my windows so this is not pirating/illegal. It is a .daa file (PowerISO). I want to know how to burn it. I have converted the file to ISO and burnt using MagicISO but when I turn on my laptop with the Disk in it loads up a screen with different coloured images and doesnt go any further. Any ideas on how to burn this file so that it will autorun when I turn on my laptop? Update #1: Didnt realise that I could burn .daa straight to bootable image using MagicISO so I tried this and this time the whole screen is filled with flashing colours!!! Update #2: I may have found a fix!!! The tw@t that made the original .daa put the files inside of a folder in the .daa so when I converted it to ISO the root of the ISO was a folder, not the autorun.inf. Im creating the new ISO now, will update wih results! Update #3 - 7.08am: No such luck Still same old flashing screen, any ideas? Update #4 - 7.55am (4 Coffee's & 5 CDR's Later): No luck with retrying, any help please? ... Anyone? :S Update #5 - 8.12am: After spending the past 3 hours talking to myself in this thread I have now found my Win XP disk and no longer need to burn this ... It was under the keyboard I have been typing on... Tw@t!!!!! Thanks anyways
why not just get the original disc instead of an image? at least that way you can make a decent image yourself congrats on solving the problem
