I am unsure if I should post this here or in the DVD thread but how can I burn multiple CD's onto a DVD-R so that I can play them on regular CD players such as the one in my car which does not support MP3's. I have an external dvd-r drive and use Nero.. Any help will be appreciated!

This is never gonna work for you. As you said you are trying to play the resulting disk on a CD player, it is not going to recognise a DVD no matter what format the files are that are burnt onto it.
Either stick with multiple disks in the car, or invest in an MP3 compatible player. The only other way around it, may be to use an MP3 player to tape convertor and playback music through a tape drive on the car stereo if it has one.

you need to invest in a new head unit for your car capable of playing MP3 CD-R's.. i got one recently, its the best! up to 5 double/10 single albums on one disc.. you cant go wrong for in car entertainment, matey.
