I was wondering if I burned a CD Video using Nero 7 ultra, that any enhancements such as scrolling texts and credits are supposed to show up on said CD Video as they do when I record DVD Movie, and if they can be recorded at high speed like 12x.
Excuse me for asking, but when the cost of using good quality same-branded discs (e.g. Verbatim CD-R and DVD+R) differs by only five cents each, why bother with a VCD? Sure, you can find much cheaper ones but be prepared for headaches galore (and lots of shiny new coasters). The enhancements you mention will show up on your VCD but I suggest slowing your burn speed regardless of which type discs you use.
I know that they manufacture discs specifically for Photos but do they have ones for home burn movies or are they just the normal DVD+R's and do they make such a thing as discs for Super Video Discs?
I've never heard of any of those "special" discs you mentioned. But if they do make them it's a big scam. Save your money and use "normal" high quality discs like Verbatim and Tao Yuden.
Tao Luden is not marketed here in Canada according to my knowledge, but Verbatim is. How does Memorex rank with either one of them? I'm willing the go the extra mile money wise to get good results. Only today on a separate forum I found out that 4x is the good speed for burning videos and tried it, and it worked out pretty good.
Memorex is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Absolute crap. Buy one of the two that I previously mentioned even if you have to buy online. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_g...&field-keywords=verbatim+dvd&sprefix=verbatim http://www.supermediastore.com/dvdplusr-media.html And many more good online retailers. Just search the brand name. The final word. Read carefully: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
