I downloaded a movie from Kazaa and it was in avi format. I then converted it using TMPGEnc to mpeg2 format, as my home dvd player says it uses mpeg2 when I look in the menu. I tried burning it with both Nero and my regular burning software, Adaptec and it still would not play. I know my dvd player plays vcd's, because I have watched them on it before. Is there something I am doing wrong. Please, someone help me out. My dvd player is an RCA and was bought in 1999.

    Thank you

Well, in the main menu, I select SVCD and then follow the instructions to burn. I have done it at 4x and 2x, and every time it says burn was sucessful, but when I put it in the DVD player, it says NO DISC, PLEASE INSERT DISK. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
