I am trying to burn DVD videos as follows : I copy the files from the Current DVD movies in my hard drive in the .vob format. Then I use a empty DVD and burn those files using Nero 8 Lite Nero Express but I am not able to play movies as they are burnt in the new dvd as files so I have to open them and play and when I burn i get a error report DVD- Video Comliance test failed the resulting dvd - video must be unplayable Kindly help ?

Yes I tried the same way after seeing your posting even now i get the same error. DVD-Video Compliance test failed the resulting dvd - video must be unplayable do you want to continue ? Kindly help
What program did you use to rip the DVD to HDD? I think I used to get that message sometimes when ripping with DVD decrypter ,"Movie only" maybe, or mavbe some made by Nero Vision, don't remember exctly. I'd press yes, and the DVD still played in my player. Run the ripped movie through FixVTS and see if it changes. I would use DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip, it is free.
