Burning DVD+R movie to DVD-R disc

    I have a few movies on DVD+R discs that I'm trying to burn on to DVD-R discs, but I keep getting error messages. I am using Nero 8, and I have also tried DVDFab Platinum and DVDDecrypter. Can some one provide some guidance please?

    What are the error messages you are getting? Are the disks scratched up? We need some more information so we can have an idea what the problem may be.

    If you're backing up movies that are already ripped and burned to blank dvd's you don't need to re-rip them.

    Use Imgburn or Nero and just read the disc, then write it.
