I've downloaded several DVDs from BitTorrent - small stuff - I have the VIDEO_TS directories. Both have VTS_01.0.BUP, VTS_01_0.NFO and VTS_01_0.VOB and VTS_01_1.VOB - can I combined these into one playable DVD?

Want to just rename on directory to VTS_02_*.* but NERO keeps giving errors - I'm assuming the NFO file must be referring to file names.

    Any help would be apprecaited.

Are there actualy NFO files in the directories or are they IFO? Nero 6.x needs IFO, BUP and VOB files to be 'DVD Compliant.'

If they are NFO files (I've yet to run across this type file but I've led a sheltered life) try renaming them to IFO. You should have a BUP file of exact equal size that coresponds with every IFO file. EG: VTS_01_0.IFO and VTS_O1_0.BUP (equal filesize) refers to VTS_01_0.VOB.

Yes, if IFO files are there and DVD Shrink can Open them. you can use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to add/import Tracks from you HD or a DVD using it's DVD Navigator.

RWG - Thanks for the reply - if I can elaborate ...

I've downloaded 3 'DVD' images - each has the NFO, BUF and VOB files - but each one is only 17, 32, or 35 minutes - concert footage - I'd like to put all the footage on one DVD (different chapters). Is that what this software will do?

    Thanks again

DVD Shrink will let you compile a DVD using multiple tracks from various sources (DVDs or HDs) but it won't make a menu for you. They will play consecutively one after the other. There will be no chapter breaks, only the jump from the 1st concert track to the 2nd to the 3rd.

But I don't think Shrink will work with NFO files. You'll need IFO files.

If you want menus TEMPGEnc DVD Author may be what you want to try.

    luck-
