I am using a sony dv camcorder to capture video to my computer. I can capture, edit just fine. When I try to create a disk, I get the following message.status-disc burning completed. waiting for background formatting to finish. The program just stays in this mode. It appears to be locked up. I eventually just cancel. Does anyone have any input to this problem? Thanks

I don"t Know what the Problem is because I allways Found studio 8 Buggy and it"s Mpeg encodeing and DVD authoring Features Suck...
If I were you I would Use Studio 8 to Render your Project as a DV AVI file then get yourself a Good Quality Mpeg2 encoder Like Tmpgenc or MainConcept or CCE and encode your Files to High quality Mpeg2 and then use a Real DVD authoring Program Like "DVD-Lab" or even something simple and Basic Like "Tmpgenc DVD author" to author your DVD..I"m sure you would Have Less Problems and Much Better Quality Video and a Better looking DVD...If you want to try thins But can"t find the software then PM Me with your E-Mail address and I"ll send you some Links to download the Software....I know this doesn"t Solve your Studio 8 problems but My Moto is "If all else Fails try something else"...Cheers
