i am very very new at using computers and have just purchased a new one. although i have a dvd-r burner i am unable to use it because most of the dvds i have are encrypted. what program should i get to burn these dvds and am i able to just download one??
you mean copy protected dont you.Your 1st step is to check out both the software tab and the guides tab at the top of the page.Read ,read and more reading. The program you are probably looking for is Slysofts Anydvd. This program will bypass both the css(copy protection mechanisms on all commercially made dvd's) and the rce code (region settings)
delmenico, read the guides reagarding dvd shrink and dvd decrypter Also download DVD43 version 1.4 (version 2+ costs money) Shrink will rip and encode and decrypter will burn the iso file. Use dvd43 to view mis-matched region dvd's on your burner
Hi i am new too. Only just started to make backups of my dvd collection. I have used DVD Shrink for all of my backups and it works brill. It rips it, then encodes it, then puts it on to DVD with brill quality. I personally think that its the best one to use.
