Ok i know that this is possible because i am seeing it more and more often. So here is a shout out to all the people that know or have done it before! Please if you know how to burn halo2 to dvd and be able to play on live, LEAVE a message on this thread! Or AIM me Iluvmytacos19 thanks
lol how would you boot a burned game and still go onlive?? they are doing it on the 360 using the hacked firmware not the original xbox....
There's a firmware hack for Xbox DVD drives and custom firmware for aftermarket DVD drives (specific LG and Samsung models). That *might* be how they're doing it.
Well if you know that there is hacked firmware or watever it is your talking about smarty pants..lol.. than you should know where to get this at? perhaps?
ive seen it done as well by ppf neon of neons files and i have read a full tutorial on it at team-halo.com so dont say it cant be done i would give you the tut but it is on a adobe file that i cannot copy and past but it might still be on team-halo im not sure since they just remade their whole site.
http://www.team-halo.com/forum2/index.php?showtopic=9 you have to register to download tutorial and make sure you meet all of the specifications that the tutorial requires.
Smarty pants? That sure makes me want to help -_- It was on Xbox Scene a few months back (the LG hack) and the Samsung hack has been on one of the other Xbox forums for a while now as well. Don't quite feel like checking which one it is though.
the problem for most people around here not all is that nobody reads....the firmware hack for the original Xbox is Detectable on XBL even the guy that hacked it told everybody after it was released publicly to play at your own risk.....
Ah, so it's detectable? I wasn't sure, which is why I threw in "might work." Never looked into it much after The Specialist showed off the first incarnation of an Xbox DVD-ROM firmware hack.
yea MS fixed that one up in a hurry i dont know why they havent fixed the 360 ones yet....but that people not reading comment was not directed at you venom but you should already know that
Yeah, I knew I'm surprised they were so quick to block it on Xbox but not on 360. Guess they're just letting people have fun for now.
