    Hi,

I have a 74minute .mp3 file that shows as one track, however, it is infact made up of 11 individual tracks mixed together (a DJ mix). I want to be able to create skip points when I burn it to CDR.

here an extract of the .cue file I have written :
    ................................................
    PERFORMER "Mark Anderson"
    TITLE "Backroom Sounds Mix"
    FILE "BRS mix.mp3" WAVE
    TRACK 01 AUDIO
    TITLE "Soul Music"
    PERFORMER "Notenshun"
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 AUDIO
    TITLE "Prophecy"
    PERFORMER "Simon Grey"
    INDEX 01 07:14:00
    TRACK 03 AUDIO
    TITLE "Invisible"
    PERFORMER "Monkey Bros"
    INDEX 01 15:52:00
    ..................................................
Saved on a Notepad with the extension .cue - Okay so I have also downloaded Burrrn ... and in the readme file it states to drag and drop the files for burning.
So, I dragged over the .mp3 file .... Then the .cue file ... pressed burn and the burn completed successfully but. The CDR shows 1 track 74mins long with no skip points????????

    I need some help please.

    Thanks

Hi. Don't drag'n'drop the mp3; only drag'n'drop the .cue to Burrrn. Make sure that your mp3 is named "BRS mix.mp3" and that it's in the same directory as the .cue.

To check if your .cue file works properly before burning you can use foobar2000. Drag'n'drop the .cue (only) to fb2k. The tracks should show up (and be playable directly) as you expect them on the CD you'll burn. (While you are at it, you can also use foobar2000 (foo_burninate component required) for burning if you have Nero installed ;) ).
