Iam new to burning and i would like to know how step by step how to switch a file from a file sharing program ie: iso.exe file to just .iso so that alcohol 120% will regognize it.

It depends on why it has the .exe extension. It could be a self extracting archive, in which case you can either just double click on it and select a location to uncompress it to or open it with a program like Winzip or WinRAR. Otherwise it is probably just an ISO file that has had a .exe extension added and you can just right click, select Rename, and delete the .exe from the end.

If you have WinRAR installed you can just right click on the file and select Open With WinRAR. If there is just an ISO file there then it is a compressed ISO and needs uncompressed. If the CD structure is there (the actual files and folders from the CD) then it just needs renamed.

it burns fine thats not the problem it's for example age of mythology and when i got to play after it's installed and burned onto a cd it will not except the burned cd to play. it says make sure that the cd is in the cd drive and press ok. what are you thoughts on that.

You have to find out what security is used on it and use alcohol to burn it with that security.

Yeah but it doesnt take skill to be a script kiddie.... also, many of the noCds arent very flexible with regards to patches and stuff. :D

Copy Paste! Very simple :D Just take the noCD and put it in the same folder as the AOM.EXE and run it! (if it asks you to overwrite then overwrite). Also, READ the NFO files that are included with damn near every single noCD in existence.
