Alrighty, forgive me if I forget anything that ya'll might need to give me a hand, registered to ask this question, although I am a frequent visitor to these forums but anyways, onto my issue: I've got an HP Media center PC m7334n, Installed an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 graphics card and all that goodness in the past but recently I can't burn CD's or DVD's with my HP DVD Writer 840b. I can read disks just fine, I just can't write to them, which really perplexes me. I can't update my firmware because I lack the means to burn the file to a CD and I don't have a floppy drive either. So my question becomes, what can I do to get my burning capabilities back? It's a lightscribe drive, I burned one LightScribe disk in it's entire life which was over a year ago, and then all of the sudden it just stopped working on me. I'm not sure what to make of it. Any help ya'll can give me is greatly appreciated, if you need more information just let me know.
