Does the new version Nero 8 allow me to burn a large avi file to several CDs? I do not have a DVD-RW; so I use CD-RW. Since the movie is larger than one CD, will nero automatically prompt me to insert a second CD....and both are playable in an ordinary DVD player?

    Thanks

It probably does. With the price of a DVD burner ~$30.00:

...why would you not get one?? It's bettter when you don't have to keep changing discs to watch a movie. It's better than having each movie on a bunch of CDs. Think of the money you will save not having to buy lots of CDs and things to store all of them in.

That used to be the thing to do back when DVD burners were 400 dollars. Plus storage does become an issue. Having a three or four hundred DVD collection is not uncommon. That would be 900 to 1200 CDs for the same movies.
