burning LOTS of music to cd

    i heard that you can make a music cd with over 200 music in it and play it in your cd player...i wonder if this is true, if it is what kind of program is it?

    its called MP3, and to be able to listen to your MP3 music you need and MP3 player

    A regular CD player can't play MP3s. It has to be MP3 ready.

    whats the best software to convert cds into mp3's ?

    This is an excellent freeware CD ripper:
    http://xtractor.sourceforge.net/

    Even though the last update was in 2002 it uses the Lame dll for mp3 conversions so just replace lame_enc.dll with a newer version if you want.

    musicmatch or windows media play work just fine to ,which you probably already have.
