I have recorded some *.mod files with a JVC camcorder. I know that I can simply change the extension to make them *.mpg file but I can't figure out how to use Nero Vision to create a DVD disk from either *.mod or*,mpg files/ Can anyone please help? Thanks
here is a simple guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946 You can add your MOD files instead of the AVI files in this guide! No problem!
Thank you for your reply. I have opened your guide but unfortunately the second and third items only show up as a single icon. I have tried a couple of times without success. After I open Nero Vision and click "make video DVD", I jump to the screen where I add files. I add the files I want (in *mpg format) and all I get is an option to go back...I can't get any further into the program. Any suggestions? Thanks again
make sure you pick DVD...... then add your files ....... as it fills up the space to make a DVD then your NEXT button should be available......don't go over the allotted space or it will be red in color and only the BACK button will be available!
I can make this work with *.avi files but with *.MPG files I simply get a brief flash on the monitor then it says I have used 0 space out of 4.38 and I only have a ""Back"" button.....no ""Next"" button? Thanks again for your interest
Let's make sure you are doing the same thing that I am doing>..... OK? 1. from the START SMART menu.... hit Nero Vision 2. select MAKE DVD & DVD VIDEO 3. hit.... ADD VIDEO FILES 4. notice ALL SUPPORTED VIDEO FILES so I picked one that was on my computer... you pick the one you need! 5. Notice that after I added my file it shows how much space is needed and what quality I have and the NEXT button is available. you should be able to move on from there ...... if you are not getting #5 then you didn't add a valid supported video file! Make sure that your file is of the type that is showing in the SUPPORTED VIDEO types for Nero Vision.
Thanks for your reply. I'm leaving in a few minutes on a trip to Bangkok. I'll be back next Sunday when I hope we can pick this up again.
