    Hello All;

    MP3's downloaded or copied from any source when burned on a CD to be played on a 5.1 Surround Home music player do not have the effect. I have noticed that some songs that I burned recently had this effect but not all. I presume that the 5.1 Surround quality comes from how these MP3's are recorded or something in the likes of a bit rate. My question is say I do not want to check on these aspects each time I burn MP3 audio files to a CD or DVD is there a software that takes care of encoding the MP3 in such a way that it plays or simulates a 5.1 Surround Output on a Home music player?

    mp3 only have 2 channels so you can not use mp3 to support 5.1
    now wma,ogg,wav,aac can support 5.1,but if you want to use home player,you may burn dts cd can do this job.
