I don't use itunes (cause apple sucks) but I'm pretty sure it only burns audio CDRs. I beleive WMP also only burns CDRs. You don't have a burning application such as nero or Roxio?

djscoop why would u say apple sucks? is it because your brain capasity is only able to run Windows? I mean sure apple is hated but lots but it is a very good OS. Do you like Star Wars? Beacuse if you do you are ironic. Apple computers basicily edited the movie. WIndows couldnt handle it in most cases. Think twice before making a post like that you window |\|/-\``/_|

Dude? Save that for the safty valve or PM! Everyone knows that Apple makes great media editting stuff. But thats it. Apple wouldn't dare campare office effiecincy to Windows office effiecincy because it would lose that battle.

    LINUX Rules All! (j/k)

Anyway, no Itunes and WMP can't burn DVDs. You need Nero or something like Nero.

actually no, I don't like star wars, because its nothing more than an expensive cartoon. the acting and story was terrible, the only thing it had going was the fight scenes. just because lucas edited on a mac (which I honestly find hard to beleive) doesn't mean its a good computer.

My father has been working for the movie industry for over thirty years. I have been to many post-editing houses. You know what they ALL use? Not Final Cut Pro, but they use Avid Symphony systems, running on PCs.

The only reason why OS X can be considered a "good" OS is because it was based on Unix. Take a look at OS 9...can you seriously say that was a good OS? People that use macs are SO incredibly limited to what they can do. How many different media players are there? Itunes and maybe a handful more? There's hundreds for PCs. This is true in every category. Besides the main programs from companies like adobe, there is hardly anyting available for macs.

People always claim how macs are so much more stable. Back in the windows 95 and 98 days, yes that was true. But win2k and winXP (even though its severly bloated) is just as stable as OS X. I have a server running win2k pro that has run continuously for almost 4 years now, without a single crash or lockup.

Ever want to play games? Well IDK about you but I haven't seen any for macs. And Steve Jobs practically admitted that his hardware is inferior to PCs, when earlier this year he announced the next gen of macs are going to use Intel processors, since the G5s weren't powerful enough.

So for people that just have basic computer skills and need an easy to use computer for office programs and web surfing, then go with macs. But me personally, I prefer real computers.

PS. why do you give me sh*t about PCs, when your siq has windows and linux in it??? You sound like a hypocrit to me...

BTW your right Ced, Linux is definately better than anything, I just wish major program companies would start developing more applications for it. But I just built a PVR running Red Hat 9 with 3 TV tuner cards in it and it works great!
