Burning Mpeg files (noob question)

    When i convert an avi file to an mpeg file, the sound lags way behind the picture. Can anyone tell me what Iam doing wrong and the solution to this problem?

    There could be a Few Different Reasons but Probably the Most Common reason especially with Downloaded AVI files is because the Audio in the AVI file is VBR MP3 which will usually either go way out of Sync after converting or it will just not have any audio after converting...

    The way to Solve this Problem is to decompress the audio in the AVI file before Converting/Encodeing the file to another format...

    if you PM Me with your e-mail address I can send you a small tool that will decompress the audio in your AVI files so they won"t go out of Sync after encodeing.....
