Burning mpeg layer 3 files with Nero

    I am new to the burning world having only recentley purchesed my DVD burner. I have a number of movies that I downloaded to my copmuter and now I want to burn them onto a DVD so that I can watch then on my DVD player. I was able to finaly burn the movies but there was no sound when I played it on my DVD player. A friend told me that it has to do with them being mpeg files. Can anyone help me out?

    i would try this - K-Lite mega codec pack - http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/

    and divxtodvd from up the top of afterdawn's pages in the software section. also look in the guides section for said program...
