can u burn music to a dvd-rw disc,on the packaging it says u can,but when i try to do with nero express im unable to,can someone please help me
Not sure if anyone's tried burning an audio DVD with DVD-RW yet, so it may not be an option in Nero...though I am still using Nero 6 and it has no option to burn an audio DVD. This may be different in 7 if that's what you are using. I refused to upgrade to 7 due to the amount of bloatware and tweaks you have to do to get it running..and I had some DVD movie burning issues that I didn't have with 6.
What are you burning as then? Try burning it as a data dvd as mp3s are data... @ morph: I don't know either, cos i don't have 7. I'm going by logic and initiative here ;-)
i tried burning it as data and im unable to,every time regardless what program i use,i tried nero express, i get an error, but when i burn movies i have no problems or when i burn music to a cd-r i have no problem
As far as I know..and this may be different so you might try asking this question in the music forums here....but Nero doesn't recognize a DVD+/-RW disk as media for playing music. It's designed to create a music CD like those pressed in manufacturing...therefore when it detects the RW media it doesn't match the specific CD or CDRW media type it's looking for. Though you can burn all your MP3's straight over to a DVDRW disk as "backup"...Nero won't create it as a music CD. However, some players will play DVDRW/CDRW disks with just plain MP3 files on them. Our DVD player at home does this by giving you a menu on the TV screen to select the song.
