    Hello
I have an original XBOX game and burned the .iso onto a blank DVD, and when I put it in my 360 it says "mixed media disc" and wont let me play it.

I need a total walkthrough on how to burn original XBOX games so I can play them in my XBOX 360.

    Thanks

I am looking for the same thing. I teach programming and my class just wrote some XNA games for Windows and XBox 360. We can use the Creators Club to transfer the files, but we really need to put them on DVD.

    HELP!!!!!

Theres a nice program called Craxtion. It can burn the xISO (the ISO file top for XBox, most games are already in this format) right to the disk.

However, lets say you need help making one, Craxtion can do that as well.

Hope I helped. It's been completely re-done in .NET since 4.0

    to burn an xbox game:

Before anything, first make sure you are able to FTP into your xbox.

Step 1: Put a game in your xbox.
Step 2: FTP into the xbox
step 3: Look in your D drive for the game files.
step 4: Transfer the game files into your computer to the location of your choice.
step 5: Make an iso of the files using Craxtion or any other XISO creator program.
step 6: Burn the XISO onto a DVD using DVDDecryptor, MagicISO, etc.(Make sure you burn in Verify mode and at the lowest speed possible. Lower speed = better burning.)
    step 7: Test the backup.

Im not sure if a modded xbox360 can take copys of xbox games.

It should so long as it's a good burn and in the "supported games" list.

TBH I haven't ever tried one.. why bother when an xbox costs £15 and softmodding is free?

BTW... craxtion isn't for beginners.. use cloneXB (google.. it's free and very easy to use)
