    Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place for this problem......i have downloaded a few movies from e.mule but when i burn some of them the picture seems to stutter when the film pans from side to side, it's ok when the shots are close or there is plenty of action. anyone have this problem, and is there a cure?????
    Thanks......Rob

Well this Type of effect can be caused from a Number of Things Like if you encoded your Files useing a Different Frame Rate than the source then you can get this effect...Like if your Source File is 25fps and you encode it to 29.976fps then you can get this effect...

Also if you encode your File with the Field order reverced you will get a Jumpy effect on Panning and High motion scenes....

also if this effect is seen on your PC it might not show up when watched on your TV because Motitors are not meant to display Interlaced Content and it will have a Jumpy effect when Played back on your Monitor.....

Encoders Like the One that nero uses and that DVD Santa uses are Pretty Low Quality encoders and will treat most all Video types the same way so there are Basicly no settings in these programs to correct these types of problems.....

For best results it is best to learn how to use a real standalone encoder like Tmpgenc and learn what types of Video have to be encoded a certain way and Learn how to Figure out what type of video you are dealing with when you have to encode a Video file....

Actually an encoder Like Tmpgenc when in "Wizard" mode will set pretty much all of the correct settings for you based on what type of File you have....After encodeing you will have to author the encoded file to DVD useing a DVD authoring program.....
