When I select 5 or 6 divx files on my hd totaling about 4 gigs and then check four copies it takes about 36 mins to do each dvd at 16x. Is there not some way to put the read im memory and then just burn all subsequent copies like I could do with making several copies of a a dvd in clone dvd2 where first dvd took a while but copies only took about 7 minutes....thanks
My drive will burn 4GB of data files @ 2x in twenty-six minutes. Maybe run Nero Tools> Nero Info Tool > configuration and check that DMA is on for the DVD burner and the HDD.
no when I go to device manager I'm ok, it seems its rereading before burning and that is stage that seems to duplicate which is what I'm asking about
problem solved. even though dma was indicated I uninstalled driver and let windows reinstall after reboot and lo and behold now taking about 8 mins at 16x for 4 gigs data. thanks
