Burning Speed Problem???

    Im having a problem burning. I use nero to burn all my images and they work great at 1x but now after i install this new dvd burner i open nero to burn an image and the lowest speed i can choose is 2.4x and the copies dont work if u burn then that fast??

    There shouldnt be a diffrence between 1 and 2.4 I burn my PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox games at 4x and have no trouble with it.
