    Jeez,

I'm such a n00b, I know nothing about this stuff...I know how to code a game in Java, but not this. Anyway, basically,I have all the VOB files from a ripped DVD, and I want to burn them onto a standard 4.7 DVD-R, what is the best program to do this with?

Read the guides (tab at the top) it's what they are there for, and they will be better than any piecemeal advice you get here.
Come back if you run into a problem using one of the guides

I am having problems burning a ripped VOB file as well. I used the instructions on the guide tab, but when I pull up the VIDEO_TS Folder I do not have any .BUP files (only .vob and .IFO) Therefore I am getting an error when I try to actually burn the CD.

You aren't ripping all the files.

You don't say what you are using to rip with, but whatever it is you need to set it to rip everything.

To get the movie onto my HD I used DVD Decrytper. I can watch the movie from my computer and everything is fine. The only files listed in the VIDEO_TS Folder are 4 .VOB files and 1 .ISO file. Everything is set to the default settings in DVD Decrypter. Any Thoughts???
