I have tried to copy an .AVI movie to a dvd-r disc, but the disc wont play on my dvd player. The Re-writer is the new NEC nd2500 which I have just bought. I burned the film using nero6. When I put the disc into the dvd player it shows 'wrong disc'. I have tried it on another player, and again it wont work. it does play back on the computer. The disc i am using is Datawrite clasic. These discs do work on my player as I already have some copied from another computer! Am I doing something wrong or is it nero6? or is it something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi winger, Are you converting your AVI to DVD compliant files? If not, go to the forum start page, the first post at the top is AVI to DVDR. Start there to learn how. Also a link off the forum home page on the right side. Hope this helps. Jerry
Thanks for your reply. What I did was burn the image to the hard drive using nero6, which recoded the avi file. This was saved as a video_ts file. I then burned that to disk
