hi, i want to burn some wma files onto a cd so it can be playable on car cd players and home. are wma files the right way to burn to a cd? or do i need to convert them into another format? and if so, what's a good program i can use? this will be the first time i'm trying something like that. thanks alot!
Use an application like Nero. Or if you want something that's free I think Windows Media Player 10 can do the job.
wma format is fine, but please check if your car supports cd's that have been burned with cdr/rw (should be fine if your radio was made in the last 4 or so years). You will need [bold]windows media player[/bold] http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology= Install it etc and open. Then, File------>Add to library----->Add Folder(locate your music folder) then, once it has loaded you up with all your music, stick a blank cd into your drive, & click the tab i have highlighted here, and change it to 'burn list'. then choose your songs - right click on each song you want to put on and select 'add to burn list' then when you are done, click the 'burn' button. Enjoy =) Biz
