Hello, I am a complete computer novice and I am desperately looking for help copying a WMV file to a blank DVD. I have been told that all I have to do is drag the WMV file, I want to copy to disc, and drop it into my DVD drive. When I try to do this I get this message on my screen: Problem Copying. Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file. What do you want windows to do? XP (and I don't know about Vista) cannot burn to DVD disks - it requires a third party burning program. If you simply wish to burn the file as data to the DVD disk, ImgBurn can be used. As an aside, as a general rume - you cannot play this WMV file back on a standalone DVD player (only DVD movie format or in some cases, DivX files are acceptable).
