Sorry about my noob logic, but I've heard many times that the reason why PC disks can't be booted into an xbox is because they are burnt backwords. So I'm wondering if there is a web site hosting xbox halo 2 files ready to be modded and I'm wondering if there are any programs for burning data backwords onto a CD (in a format to fool the XBOX to think it's a DVD) so they can be compatible with the xbox. If none of this is possible, is there anyway to softmod without having to spend any money on anything?? (I'm flat broke) If that's not possible, without a modchip now, is there ANY other way to mod halo2????

No, you would have to hack the firmware for it to read burned discs.

    for softmodding.

    Splinter cell-$7

Action Replay-$30 or usb stick (very confusing to do)-$0

    total-$37 or $7

    Good modchip- $60
