I've looked through the stickies and this one doesn't seem to be answered anywhere, so here goes:

If my Xbox does NOT have a mod chip in it, will it still read an Xbox game that is properly burnt to a blank DVD?

Sorry if this actually was answered anywhere, must have missed it. And thanks.

It won't read it unless your xbox has been modded, but you don't need a modchip if you know how to 'softmod' your xbox. It is SUPER easy to do.

You can find an Action Replay dongle on Amazon or ebay, it's just a neat little way to get files from your computer to your xbox but it costs about $25.
