Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum but need to know some info. I have a soft mod xbox and can ftp games and play. however i have a problem burning those games with nero to play on soft modded xbox. Is there something i need to change or do? I use qwix to load and extract iso. Nero to burn iso. why wont the xbox recognize dvd or cd. it keeps saying no disc any setting changes I need to Make?
I'm not sure entirely where your going wrong - I suspect your writing all the files and folders in nero straight to the disk? basically a pc cant read the xbox format so if you can put your "backed up" disk into the pc and see files on it once its burned then you are doing it wrong. you need a tool called "XISO" (can get it from Xbox scene tools section) you can use this to point to a folder on your pc which contains all the xbox files then make ISO into the xbox format. once you have done this you can burn it directnly with a burning program simply by opening the iso (in nero for example). Dont mount the ISO image in any virtual drives. If your successful once the ISO is burned your PC wont be able to recognise the disk or read the data but the Xbox will. As usual this is only recomended for Backing up Items you own otherwise it would be illegal... hope this helps. Nico
