Hello, I have just created a dvd from 2 avi files by first using shrink to analyse the files then backing up as an iso file onto my hdd. I then used dvd decrypter in iso write mode to write to a dvd. However when I try to play the movie it works fine for the first 45 minutes or so then starts to lock up and freeze and wont play anymore. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks,
Just to add. I used Ritek discs and burned at 2x speed. I also have shrink set to not use the edge of the dvd.
Ritek are pretty good media theres a few things you can do first make sure your firmware is up to date second dont run other programs while encoding and burning,make sure your machine is clean ,disc cleanup and defragging often ,and try different media Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim are everyones top choice also if your using DVD+R booktype them to DVD-ROM or use DVD-R instead of DVD+R
