I got GTA San Andreas, and i burnt it onto my softmodded(once hardmodded, but something went wrong) xbox using PHH Loader. Now when i go to "Play Games On The Hard Drive" and i click on GTA San Andreas it goes to the loading image of Evo-X(default loading image= Green circle with Evo-X in it)then just sits there for like 5-10 seconds and just goes back to the default evo-x. can anyone tell me whats wrong? (i have a 120GB HDD if that has anythiing to do with it).

Did you check to see what the name of the default.xbe is? For instance, say you have a modded xbox and you input the retail version of Mech Assault, it will not launch, why? Because MechAssault's default.xbe file is named mechassault.xbe your modded Xbox is only set to look for the file default.xbe so it won't launch the game under those circumstances, you either need to rename the file to default.xbe or use Xplorer or the file manager to launch it manually.

You need to edit you INI or XML file so that it targets the default.xbe at the location where you are storing your gamefiles on the HDD.

How do you do that? I'm having the same problem with A LOT of my games. Some work, and some don't.
