Good day, people. Have a question with regards to burning VCDs. I have some wmv files that I want to burnt onto CDs which I have already done. The problem is that some files have full audio and some files have no audio at all. I have use FU4WM to remove DRM and am not sure if it does affect audio? Did read something about the difference btw PAL and NTSC, but when using GSpot, no difference noted. Could it be that my DVD firmware needs upgrading? It's a Base DV-360 model. Thanks
If the .wmv file has audio before conversion to VCD, then the VCD should have no audio problems. Your media player on the PC should play the cd without error. If there is a problem, the CD should have a folder 'MPEGAV' and inside there is a .DAT file. Copy the file to the desktop then drag it onto 'Gspot'. Verify that the audio is listed and the codec is installed. The file can be played back using button 1 then button 2. Note that when using Nero you are normally selecting NTSC (unless you are PAL) for the output - and you will see that 'GSpot' lists the type on the right-centre window). http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip
