@Creaky...out of curiosity, why is that creaky? With all this talk about computers, peripherals, dig cameras, home theather systems etc, it seems a logical place. Is it that the site or dRD could be held responsible for any screw ups?

ya thats what I was thinking. They call it "Vertical Marketing". There are lots of folks here with similar interests (and lots of ads on the pages) it would seem ideal to have one forum dedicated to buying and selling -- with a disclaimer that Afterdawn holds no responsibility.

I dont think it would be to hard to set up either, just add a forum.

however, Im pretty new here and dont feel its my place to request it.

@M323...I know what you're saying but methinks there is more to it than that. "Disclaimers" aren't worth the proverbial piss hole in the snow (or so I'm told). We use them at work so people will know the rules but our legal department tell us that they're never legally viable. I don't speak from knowledge of the subject though; I'm certainly no lawyer.

    Edit...can't type worth a crap!

i'm happy AD doesn't allow the sale of stuff here. it keeps the forums out of the red tape when the inevitable happens and one guy rips another guy off.
