Buying a new Burner....

    Hey all, as a Christmas gift i'm asking for a Dual Layer DVD burner and was looking for a little feedback on what indivuduals run here , pros and cons kinda stuff i guess, the burner i have now is a sony works okay other then i am somewhat limited, as it will only burn DVD+ so i was defiantely looking for one that does both + an - , this way i could probably get rid of that sick feeling when i'm walking out of the computer show praying the guy actually gave me the DVD + , yes i buy cheap disks , they work good for me so far , thx for the advice!!!!!

    Lite-On, Pioneer, and Sony are all very decent mid-price burners. But for the king of burners, go with Plextor, but it is much more expensive than the rest. Personally, I'd go with a lite-on.

    Plextor is my top choice per my sig. BenQ,NEC,LG and Liteon are all goods ones too
