i have a dell inspiron 6000 laptop, and wondering what external dvd burner to buy. i want as cheap as possible, but i dont want something that will break all the time.....i would like to just go to a box store and buy it locally too, any ideas? example....walmart....lite-on? is that a terrible idea?

its $87 bucks. if you know somewhere i can walk in and buy a better one, less, can you let me know? also, if this lite on is terrible and unreliable let me know too?

Just buy a dvd burner made for laptops, and swap it in.

@ hayden. i have the same laptop as you do, i just bought a LG external burner($79, best buy)it is great, i have burned about ten movies in about a week without a problem. i also have a LITEON which is also OK but i prefer the LG some much more. good luck.
