hi, just got robbed from ebay of sum guy sayin he got revenge of the fallen region free in stock, hes clearly buying from usa and then sending it when he recieves it to stop it looking that way. 25gbp ripoff! anyone know where he mite be buying from? im after another copy but refuse to be robbed, even usa ebay charges more for worldwide! they know whats happening haha! how much would it really cost to buy a usa blu ray? and how much does priority airmail to uk really cost? cos i think some of them are lying lol. email me at *email removed* if any one would be so kind to share info
US Blu-Rays are cheap but shipping is expensive and anything £18 or over must be customs declared resulting in 15% VAT + an £8 Royal Mail handling fee. Instead I buy from 3 different websites, all of which operate within the EU and sell US Blu-Rays to the UK without customs. AxelMusic.com - very fast though expensive (I paid £21 for My Bloody Valentine 3D but it came 5 days later). They sell region free and Region locked Blu-Rays. P&P is based on weight. BluBastard.com - they're based in London and are the cheapest of the three but delivery ranges from swift to slow (my Wolverine came the next day while my Transformers 2 came 10 days later - admittedly the postal strikes hindered it). However they're limited to only selling US Region Free Blu-Rays. P&P is free in the UK and EU. Movietyme.com - very expensive but efficient service. I've never used it but some of my friends have. They sell DVDs, Region free and region locked Blu-Rays and have the biggest selection of the three. P&P depends on the service you want (free for delivery that takes up to 28 days, a small cost (I think either 99p or £1.99) for fast delivery).
I can address the "price" part. I paid $22.99 USA for Transformers 2 on release date. That's our retail price in the stores - $7.00 for opening day discount. If it was sold for less than that I would guess that it was a scam or possibly stolen.
